What does it mean to “ground an amp”, or “ground an input jack” I’ve read a couple forums and people suggest doing that to fix amp buzzing problems. It might be that something isn’t grounded properly around my house because at my friend’s house, my amp works perfect. So what does it mean to have an amp grounded? What IS ground?? Thanks

Probably the house wiring.
A 3-prong grounded receptacle will usually cure the problem. Here’s a link that may help you get more info. than I can give in a short space. Hope it helps.
